Aristotelous 3 is a six-storey apartment building in Kallithea, Athens, being converted into new apartments. YOOAN supplied the whole envelope package — 50 thermal-break sliding doors (192 m²), 12 top-hung windows, 38 aluminium roller shutters (181 m²) and 72 metres of glass balustrade — engineered so that shutters, sliding doors and railings work as one assembly on every balcony.

European certification, completed with the client
The client’s first condition was EU conformity. YOOAN and the client completed the certification for the order together — CE for the casement window and the glass railing, OTC for the 65 sliding door and a machinery-directive certificate for the roller shutters — before production started.

Shutter, sliding door and railing as one assembly
The technical challenge was making a roller shutter, a sliding door and a glass railing meet cleanly in the same balcony opening. YOOAN’s engineers resolved the integrated detail so the three products were supplied — and installed — as one system.

Selected on quality after a regional comparison
The client compared offers from several regional manufacturers and selected YOOAN for build quality, with the required thermal (K-value) performance confirmed for the chosen configuration. A second project with the same client is now in preparation.

The client’s own team in Athens, working from YOOAN’s installation diagrams and packing list. Production took about 35 days; the containers shipped in October and November 2025 and the building is now in the installation and acceptance stage.
