In his remarks, Foshan Deputy Mayor Xu Tong emphasized the Chamber’s commitment in 2024 to implementing the provincial "1310" strategy and municipal directives. He highlighted six key focus areas: enhancing ideological and political guidance, deepening international trade cooperation, expanding enterprise service networks, advocating for the business community, safeguarding enterprises' international rights, and strengthening the Chamber’s organizational structure.
He also outlined four key recommendations for the development of export-oriented enterprises in Foshan and the Chamber in 2025:
1.Embrace a global perspective and pursue high-quality development.
2.Align with international high-standard trade rules and mitigate globalization risks.
3.Leverage regional cooperation mechanisms to expand the "circle of friends" in trade.
4.Strengthen the Chamber’s internal capabilities to act as a "guardian" for Foshan enterprises venturing abroad.
